Short Circuit, Low Voltage, Overload & Over Temperature Protection

A 24V supply is rarely a steady 24V. It sags under load, climbs past 28V on charge, and jumps when loads switch or the alternator spikes — and those swings reach everything on the circuit, so gauges read inconsistently and anything with a microprocessor can be damaged or thrown out by a spike.

This regulator takes anything from 18 to 40V in and holds a clean, regulated 24V out, so every instrument and device downstream gets a steady supply whatever the system is doing. It carries up to 20A — 480W — enough to run a full 24V instrument panel or a bank of sensitive electronics from a single unit, at up to 97.4% efficiency.

The die-cast aluminium housing doubles as the heatsink, shedding heat by convection alone: no fan, no moving parts, silent in use. Everything inside is sealed to IP67, so it is equally at home in an engine bay, a bilge or out in the weather, and built-in protection covers short circuit, low input voltage, overload and over-temperature.

For a clean 12V supply instead — including running 12V gauges on a 24V system — see the 12V DC voltage regulator. To step a 12V supply up to 24V, use the 12V to 24V regulator. Why voltage regulators matter →
