A non-isolated DC/DC converter using synchronous rectification technology — the approach that delivers 96.5% efficiency, ±1% output accuracy and a 200,000-hour rated service life.
A 12V system is never truly 12V. Under load a battery drops. Charging from an alternator it rises to 14V or higher. Engine start, load switching, alternator spikes — the voltage on any 12V installation moves constantly, and those fluctuations reach everything connected to it. Gauges give inconsistent readings. Sensitive electronics — control modules, sensors, LEDs, anything with a microprocessor — can be damaged or give false outputs under sustained variation or spikes.
This regulator removes that problem. It takes anything between 7 and 36V in and delivers a stable, clean 12V out, regardless of what the supply is doing. Everything downstream gets exactly what it should.
Automatic shutdown if the input drops below 7V or exceeds 36V, with automatic recovery when it returns to range. No manual reset, no intervention needed.
That makes it useful in any installation where clean, stable 12V matters — wherever sensitive electronics run from a source that fluctuates in use. Particularly relevant in robotics, drones and autonomous equipment where voltage stability is as important as the power supply itself.
For 24V installations it also replaces dropping resistors. Individual dropping resistors wired in-line on a 24V dashboard are inefficient, generate heat and create multiple points of failure. A single regulator replaces them all, providing clean regulated 12V to an entire panel. The 3A variant handles up to 20 standard 52mm gauges. The 5A handles up to 38.
Available in two output variants: 12.2V at 3A, or 13.8V at 5A.
IP68 sealed — rated to 1.5m submersion. Die-cast aluminium housing with integrated passive heatsink. No fan, no moving parts.
Built around NCC and NICHICON capacitors — the same components used in industrial-grade equipment. Most comparable units are rated at 100,000 hours MTBF. These are rated at 200,000.
