Reads: Engine oil pressure
Range: 0–5 bar (75 psi) or 0–10 bar (145 psi)
Resistance: 10–185 ohms
Gauge size: 52mm diameter
Power: 12V or 24V
Face: black or white
Bezel: black or white plastic, or 316 stainless
Like all products in the Wema range, our analogue instruments are built to last. Designed to be accurate, reliable and dependable over years of use.
Oil pressure is one of the most critical readings on any engine. A drop below safe operating pressure causes damage quickly — and without a reliable gauge you won't know until it's too late. This is an instrument where accuracy and dependability really matter.
Available in two pressure ranges to suit different engine specifications:
- 0-5 bar — suitable for most standard petrol and diesel engines
- 0-10 bar — for higher pressure applications
Works with any 10-185Ω pressure sender — Wema or any other manufacturer's sender with a matching resistance.
IP67 rated — sealed completely against dust and waterproof to 1m depth for 30 minutes, the highest standard for a gauge, giving you confidence to install it on anything from a boat to an excavator.
Fits any standard 52mm panel cutout. Retrofits straight into most existing dashboards without modification.
Runs on 12V. For 24V systems a dropping resistor is supplied — or a voltage regulator for a cleaner, more stable long-term solution.
Red or amber backlight. Available in black or white face with black, white or brushed stainless bezel — the same Wema styling across the full gauge range, so everything matches.
We stand behind our products with a 3-year guarantee.
Specifications
- Panel cutout: 52mm
- Resistance input: 10-185Ω
- Ranges: 0-5 bar or 0-10 bar
- IP rating: IP67 (dust-tight, waterproof to 1m / 30 min)
- Power: 12V (dropping resistor supplied for 24V)
- Backlight: red or amber
The gauge has a 5-pin connector:
1. Blue — 12V negative (ground)
2. Red — 12V positive (fused, via the ignition or a separate switch)
3. Black — to the sender
4. Orange — red backlight
5. Yellow — amber backlight
Connect either the Orange or the Yellow wire for backlighting — the wire colour matches the backlight colour. The backlight is dimmable.
Fitting on 24V: either fit a voltage regulator (12V output) ahead of the gauge, or wire the supplied 150Ω dropping resistor in line with the 12V positive feed.
1. Cut a 52mm (2 1/16") diameter hole in the panel. You will need a minimum clearance of 55mm (2 3/16") behind the panel to fit the gauge. The panel can be 1–20mm thick.
2. Remove the fastening ring, insert the gauge through the panel from the front, then fit and tighten the fastening ring from the rear.
3. Connect the wiring as shown in the wiring diagram, selecting either the Orange or Yellow wire for your preferred backlight colour.
4. Securely connect the plug into the port at the back of the gauge.
